There is an immense amount of teamwork involved in custom manufacturing from start to finish. Designers, engineers, welders, fabricators, and every other role we have are all working together to create the highest quality products for our clients. Each role is important and respected by our team.

LCC College internships

PIM is thrilled to announce our new student internship program with Lower Columbia College! Working at PIM is a rewarding experience with lots of hands-on opportunities for our interns. Our staff is encouraged to learn teaching skills, and they are excited to mentor college students and develop the next generation of fabricators and welders. 

The first-hand practice that we can offer students is invaluable to improving at their trade, and will significantly further their motor functions and abilities in a way that regular classes just can’t achieve. At PIM, students will get to experience what real day-to-day work as a craftsman is like, yet will also enjoy a safe environment where they can feel comfortable learning from their mentors. If you’re a college student at Lower Columbia College considering a career as a welder or fabricator, we’d love for you to join and learn from our PIM team!
